These places are known as habitable zones. They believed that there are planets with the potential to have habitability in which extraterrestrial life can exist.

The search for extraterrestrial life beyond earth requires the knowledge about life and life-supporting environments. Astrobiology is an exciting and an emerging study of science that talks all about the mysteries of life in the universe.

If it is believed that there is a possibility of life in universe other than Earth, then life in that environment should satisfy the same requirements which build up life in earth. If we don’t believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life beyond Earth, then a question can be raised here.
